citalopram
Citalopram, sold under the brand name Celexa among others, is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant primarily prescribed for major depressive disorder.
SSRIs carry a black box warning in the U.S. for increased suicidal ideation in children, adolescents, and young adults. Studies cited in lawsuits and regulatory reviews indicate a doubling of suicidal thoughts compared to placebo.
