Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Tene Closson-Prager.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Citalopram, Trazodone, Bupropion, and Alprazolam

RIP TENE CLOSSON-PRAGER (July 7, 1972 – April 12, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polysubstance overdose.

A physician prescribing any of the above medications would have or should have advised against alcohol consumption.
