SFV

The San Fernando Valley is a large urbanized valley in Los Angeles County, covering about 260 square miles. It lies northwest of downtown Los Angeles, surrounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, Santa Monica mountains, and Simi Hills.

SFV is composed of many neighborhoods and communities, both incorporated cities and unincorporated parts within Los Angeles. The neighborhoods include Arleta, Canoga Park, Chatsworth, Encino, Granada Hills, Lake Balboa, Lake View Terrace, Mission Hills, NoHo Arts District (North Hollywood), North Hills, Northridge, Pacoima, Panorama City, Porter Ranch, Reseda, Shadow Hills, Sherman Oaks, Sherwood Forest, Studio City, Sun Valley, Sunland-Tujunga, Sylmar, Tarzana, Toluca Lake, Toluca Terrace, Toluca Woods, Valley Glen, Valley Village, Van Nuys, Warner Center, West Hills, Winnetka, and Woodland Hills. Incorporated cities within the valley also include Burbank, Glendale, San Fernando, Hidden Hills, and Calabasas.
