(L.A.) Maria De La Rosa, 22, Died From a Chest Shot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old Hispanic female in the San Fernando Valley.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Maria De La Rosa.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Chest

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday morning.

The government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Maria Lozada Montanez.

DELAROSA, who branded herself as a “Latina artist” with only 40,000 Instagram followers, was shot in the Tijuanita area of Northridge, along with two others who survived.

Francisco Otilio Gaytan, 27, Benny Lincon Gomez, 27, and Eduardo Lopez, 21, all of Northridge, have been charged with murder and attempted second-degree robbery.
