(L.A.) Diego Ixmata, 25, Died in Canoga Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Latino male in Canoga Park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Diego Ixmata.

Cause of Death: Effects of Ethanol, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

The decedent was found passed out on a bus bench at around noon near the intersection of Sherman Way and Independence Avenue. He was known in the area for panhandling daily to buy his next drink.
