(L.A.) Carlos Posada, 43, Died in Sylmar

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Carlos Posada.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Polk Street and DeGarmo Avenue in Sylmar.

LAPD said the vehicle was traveling east on Polk. The driver did not stop to render aid, making the incident a crime.
