The Russian-speaking population of West Hollywood is the most concentrated single Russian-speaking region in the United States outside of New York.

West Hollywood has a population of approximately 35,000 people, nearly 4,000 of whom are Russian speakers. That means Russian speakers are approximately 11 percent of WeHo‘s total population.

Russians and Belarusians in L.A. County have a very high rate of suicide, possibly second only to Koreans. Drug deaths and alcohol-related deaths are also prevalent in this ethnic group.
