Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Landaverde.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP CARLOS LANDAVERDE (January 25, 1991 – April 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:11 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 30, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
