Armenian

In terms of ethnicity, case investigators at the L.A. County coroner’s office have in recent years tended to classify local Armenians as either Caucasian, Hispanic/Latin American, or even Middle Eastern based on appearance. A few years ago, Armenians were more often classified as Armenian based on name. It could be that the newer investigators are not familiar with Armenian names.

Police departments in California most often classify Armenians as Asian. Pigs in uniform are the cohort widely considered as having the lowest intelligence among government workers.

When grouped, Armenians in Southern California dominate homicides and fatal traffic accidents out of proportion with their population numbers.

There are many ethnic Armenians in the Los Angeles area who are from Iran, Azerbaijan, and even Lebanon (Zankou Chicken family).
