RIP JULES S. KOVELMAN (October 1979 – August 23, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.

The decedent appears to have worked as a corporate accountant for Industrial Realty Group LLC.

Her since-deleted profile on that company’s website stated she was responsible for day-to-day accounting functions for corporate entities as well as investor coordination for IRG’s national portfolio of properties.

She supposedly had over eighteen years of diverse experience spanning the entire commercial real estate lifecycle, including acquisitions, financing, construction, leasing, and operations. Prior to joining IRG, Ms. Kovelman was a property manager and accountant engaged in the operations of over a million square feet of retail and office space.

Ms. Kovelman held a Business Administration with Accounting concentration and resided in Los Angeles.

Note that the government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Yuliya Kovelman. The spelling of that forename suggests she may have been of Russian or Ukrainian origin.

There is a LinkedIn profile for a Julia Kovelman, a Loan Servicer / Accounting and Property Management Assistant with a degree from the University of Phoenix.

On March 17, 2026, Malik Ismailov filed a motor vehicle personal injury lawsuit against Tatyana Dudova and Jules Kovelman in Los Angeles County Superior Court (Stanley Mosk Courthouse). Both defendants were served by substituted service in late March 2026. Approximately one month after filing, on April 20, 2026, the plaintiff voluntarily requested dismissal of the entire action with prejudice (meaning the case cannot be refiled). The dismissal was entered on April 22, 2026, and the case was closed.
