Mass Food Poisoning in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico

Wedding on April 27 (Saturday), 2024.

Food was served at the event garden called “La Estancia” to approximately 200 guests.

While still at the venue, the guests started experiencing dizziness, diarrhea, vomiting and headaches.

Two men and a woman had to be taken by ambulance to Cuernavaca’s general hospital.

No one died.

The source of the issue is still being investigated by authorities. Speculation has been that mushrooms were the culprit.
