Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male that occurred at a park.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Abner Acosta Contreras.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Substance Intoxication (Ethanol, Fentanyl)
RIP ABNER ACOSTA CONTRERAS (October 15, 1997 – May 26, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.
