(L.A.) Catina Tyler, 50, Died For Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Catina Tyler.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Methamphetamine and Phencyclidine

RIP CATINA TYLER (February 3, 1974 – June 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:28 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
