(L.A.) Jeremiah Hardwell, 29, Died in Jail

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old Black male that occurred at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeremiah Hardwell.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: History of Neck and Body Compression

RIP JEREMIAH HARDWELL (July 8, 1994 – July 29, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 11:31 a.m.

Location of death is given as his cell at TTCF, 450 Bauchet Street.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 6.
