(L.A.) Gregory Yengibar, 39, Died From Fentanyl

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gregory Yengibar.

Height: 6 feet 2 inches / Weight: 220 pounds

Black hair. Brown eyes.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:08 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug. This is considered an accidental overdose.

The decedent had been arrested by LAPD in July 2023 for California Penal Code 18740 which refers to setting off – or attempting to set off – an explosive for the purpose of harming other people or property.
