UPDATE: LASD announced that a 22-year-old man in their custody died on September 29, 2023. The county medical examiner made public his death on October 19 and identified him as Maxwell Aguirre. On October 20, the M.E. published their conclusion that Aguirre committed suicide by hanging.
Does anyone know the names of the two men that were arrested?
I’ve been trying to find the names too. It doesn’t make any sense why the police and courts are protecting the names of the men arrested.
Someone posted the name Maxwell Aguirre, and the County jail website confirms a Maxwell Aguirre, aged 22 from Monrovia was booked on July 16, charged with 187(A)
MAXWELL AGUIRRE
A coworker and friend. Heartbreaking. There is nothing more to say.
So sad. Where did you work together?
Max was my son’s best friend and both were in the same church ministry. He is NOT a murderer, and followed his faith. Such a good, young soul.
Los Angeles Superior Court Records show that Enrico Eugenio was a convicted sexual offender.
There is no man named Enrico Eugenio on California’s list of sex offenders.
He pled his “lude and lascivious conduct with a minor” charge down to a 647A and the courts removed the charge as part of his plea
Max is dead. Found dead in jail. Disgusting excuse of a human and his family too.
?
.
I can see them in these comments trying to smear the victim and downvoting everything they don’t like…so I would have to agree.
Coming from a friend of the family, I suggest you mind your own. Have you thought in your narrow headed mind that things are being downvoted because they’re false? Surely they have bigger concerns than to sit online and downvote on speculations. Don’t speak on matters you know nothing about. I pray that you find peace and release all the hate built up inside you.
God bless you.
You don’t know the entire situation. It is very ignorant to make a judgment on someone’s character after a tragedy like this. He is an amazing person who made a mistake. I’m sure you are no different. Spread kindness and condolences to the families involved. This comment is what is disgusting. Do better.
Can you explain the situation? I am a friend of Maxwell who is surprised about what happened and has many questions.
Does anyone know the reason they murdered him?
Unfortunately, this tragedy was not reported on in the news media. Maxwell Aguirre was in custody after he allegedly killed Enrico Eugenio. I say allegedly because Maxwell was assumed innocent until proven guilty. Max was held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility after being arrested for the alleged crime on July 18th. Twin Towers has had its share of inmate deaths over the years and Maxwell became another statistic at Twin Towers when he ended his life by suicide on September 29, 2023. We can’t assume Maxwell killed Enrico because Maxwell never had a chance to prove his innocence in… Read more »
