(L.A.) Jonathan Stewart, 41, Died at a Sheriff’s Station

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a sheriff’s station.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Jonathan Stewart, born in L.A. County.

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 4:28 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 19, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated that their South LA station had requested an ambulance for an unresponsive deputy at around 4 p.m. on April 27.

The decedent was in fact a sheriff’s deputy. He received total pay plus benefits in the amount of $199,436 in the year 2021. We do not know if he was injected with synthetic mRNA.

A procession was held when the deputy’s body was moved from the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station in the unincorporated Athens area, near Normandie Avenue and the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway, to the medical examiner’s headquarters in Boyle Heights.

On April 12, LASD deputy Daniel Okamoto, 28, died in a traffic accident while off-duty.

In November 2023, four LASD employees killed themselves within a 24-hour period.

In September 2023, LASD deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, 30, was killed while on-duty.

In August 2023, LASD deputy William Rivera Coreano, 41, ended his life while off-duty.

In January 2023, LASD deputy Jonathan Buchan, 33, ended his life while off-duty.
