RIP ANGELA YVETTE BENAVIDEZ (May 10, 1985 – April 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:58 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The decedent was picked up by Pasadena PD on January 23, 2024, on a bench warrant — she had failed to appear in court to deal with a charge. She had previous arrests stretching back ten years, including for child endangerment, drug possession and transporting/selling narcotics.

On April 24, her bail was set at 75,000 dollars. This felony was possession for sale of controlled substances in May 2021.

She was being processed by the Inmate Reception Center.

Her next court date was to have been on April 29.
