(L.A.) Tony Bledsoe, 18, Died in the Desert

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 18-year-old male that occurred in a desert.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tony Bledsoe of Lancaster, California.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds of Head (Skeletonized Remains)

RIP TONY DUANE BLEDSOE (October 15, 1990 – September 8, 2009)

Formal pronouncement of death was on Tuesday at 8:03 p.m.

The decedent’s grave marker in Joshua Memorial Park says “Too Soon Taken.”

It was only in 2017 that gangmember David Cruz Ponce, 36, was convicted of first-degree murder for the kidnapping and shooting death of Tony Bledsoe. This only came about after Ponce was found guilty of killing five homeless people in Long Beach.
