In Southern California, the highest rates of murder-suicides are among Koreans (father killing wife and children), followed by Armenians (man killing wife or girlfriend).

In March 2024, Luis Napoles (misspelled as Luis Nopales by the NYP) in the state of Florida gunned down his girlfriend and her roommate before killing himself.
