(L.A.) Christine Chun, 40, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Asian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Christine Chun.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head

RIP CHRISTINE CHUN ( August 23, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent was one of three people found dead inside a house in Rolling Hills.

LASD deputies responded to the 100 block of Crest Road East at around 10:20 a.m. after receiving a call from a family member of the victims.

The caller informed detectives that her sister and father were both dead inside of their home. While clearing the location, deputies also found the mother deceased.

It was yet another Korean incident of domestic violence that resulted in murder-suicide.
