(L.A.) Lawrence Taylor, 81, Died at Home

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 81-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residence in the Treasure Island area of Naples.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Lawrence Taylor.
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Head

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:14 a.m.
The decedent notably had been a lawyer who was an adivsor to the judge in the Charles Manson murder trial in 1970.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called to the 5600 block of Corso Di Napoli at around 6:30 a.m. for a welfare check of a couple who were not answering the front door or their phone. An elderly woman was found shot dead inside the home, and so was an elderly man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. They were husband and wife.
