The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 15, after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs. No codeine.
The decedent is NOT King Frederick Greenspon who was born in San Diego County in 1944. The decedent is presumed to be the LA-based freelance cinematographer KJ Greenspon who was from Pennsylvania.
He was found dead with his sister Shana Greenspon. Friends have shared that the siblings had left a suicide note declaring their intent to commit suicide together via an intentional overdose. It appears they were in dire financial straits and had been unable to pay rent.
