(L.A.) Irma Zamora, 40, Died from Electrocution

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latin American female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Irma Zamora.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Electrocution

RIP IRMA ZAMORA (January 8, 1972 – August 22, 2012)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:00 p.m.

The decedent was one of two Good Samaritans who died by electrocution in trying to save a reckless driver.

A judge approved two charges of manslaughter against the driver.
