RIP ERIC HERZOG (August 14, 1947 – March 3, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:42 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 19.

Aquablation is a surgical procedure that uses an image-guided high-pressure water jet to precisely destroy excess prostate tissue to relieve BPH symptoms.

BPH = Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

Aquablation is supposed to be a minimally invasive surgical technology for benign prostate enlargement, which uses high-pressure saline to remove parenchymal tissue through a heat-free mechanism of hydrodissection.

In this case, the patient’s bladder ruptured.
