(L.A.) Corina Thompson, 59, Ended Her Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Corina Thompson.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to Chest

RIP CORINA THOMPSON (March 24, 1964 – November 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:57 p.m.

The decedent was one of four LASD employees who killed themselves over a 24-hour period, in seemingly unrelated instances.

Valadez and Thompson worked in custody at the North County Correctional Facility in the maximum-security portion of the Pitchess jail.
