(L.A.) Zaven Abramyan, 68, Died at a Railroad Intersection

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old male that occurred at a railroad intersection in Glendale.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Zaven Abramyan and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday afternoon.

The decedent put himself in the path of an Amtrak train in the area of Grandview Avenue and San Fernando Road at around 12:05 p.m.
