Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 37-year-old Caucasian female that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Yekaterina Zapravdina.

Height: 5’7″ / Weight: 120 lbs

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:34 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back.

This is a Russian/Soviet Kazakh name. She appears to be of mixed heritage from Astana / Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Worked as a model in New York, as a fashion designer in L.A.

LAPD listed her as “Asian” when she was arrested on March 17, 2021, for trespassing.

She was also listed as Asian when she was arrested on January 19, 2022, by Burbank PD for the following:

She was listed as White when she was booked on July 5, 2022, for a felony. She was released on August 27, 2022.
