The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ivan Bautista Reyes.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Laennec Cirrhosis

Other Significant Condition: Cardiomegaly

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:10 p.m.

Cardiomegaly is an enlarged heart. Liver cirrhosis, regardless of etiology, is associated with anatomical cardiac alterations.

Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.
