(L.A.) Roger Davalos, 26, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Roger Davalos.

Height: 5 feet 5 inches / Weight: 150 pounds

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:01 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

The decedent started with fare evasion on the BART in May 2017. In less than seven years, he accumulated a very long rap sheet that included multiple counts of public intoxication, burglaries, disorderly conduct, battery and possession of controlled substances.
