RIP TRUMAN THOMAS ACKERSON (June 21, 1942 – October 21, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 10:40 a.m. after the body was found in the bathroom shower of his residence.
The decedent was an orthopedic surgeon who practiced at Huntington Memorial Hospital. He graduated from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine in 1968 and did his residency in orthopedic surgery at LAC-USC Medical Center from 1971 to 1975.
