Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a pool.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Scott Haberkorn.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Intraoral Gunshot Wound

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:20 a.m.

The county had originally posted the decedent’s year of birth as 1946. It was corrected to 1964 by October 31, 2023.
