Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Arturo Perez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP ARTURO PEREZ (June 24, 1984 – October 28, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:30 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
