Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Thomas Lewis.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP THOMAS LEWIS (April 5, 1982 – July 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:32 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 5, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
