(L.A.) Scot Crofut, 44, Died From Natural Causes

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Scot Crofut.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Diabetes Mellitus

Other Significant Conditions: History of Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiomyopathy, Congestive Heart Failure, and Chronic Renal Disease

RIP SCOT CROFUT (March 4, 1980 – April 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:42 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
