(L.A.) Rudolf Ghazaryan, 30, Killed by Meth and Heroin

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old male of Armenian ethnicity that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rudolf Ghazaryan.

Alprazolam, sold under the brand name Xanax, among others, is a fast-acting, potent tranquilizer of medium duration.

Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety disorders and panic disorder (sudden, unexpected attacks of extreme fear and worry about these attacks). Alprazolam is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It works by decreasing abnormal excitement in the brain.

Drug deaths are frequently classified as accidents under the assumption that the users didn’t intend to kill themselves.
