Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the infant girl as Anoera Hammack-Tate.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Suffocation

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:39 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 4.
