Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latino male that occurred at a hotel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Varandas.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound Under the Chin

RIP MARIO VARANDAS (July 1, 1969 – August 10, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:53 p.m.
