(L.A.) Mario Cuarto, 58, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Asian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mario Cuarto.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure

RIP MARIO CUARTO (May 22, 1965 – August 25, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 21.

The decedent was a mail carrier who passed away while working his postal route. He had been a USPS employee for 29 years. He was possibly of Filipino descent.
