Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Romero.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP LUIS ROMERO (December 26, 1974 – September 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:42 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 1, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs. This was an accidental overdose.
