Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Asian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as David Cheng.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

RIP DAVID CHENG (May 19, 1975 – September 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:41 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
