(L.A.) Jose Callado Mendoza, 39, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Callado Mendoza.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Alprazolam

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:56 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 7, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
