The coroner’s office has identified the man as Javad Zahedi.

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Liver Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 1:57 p.m.

Even though the decedent’s name looks Persian/Iranian, the government investigator listed the decedent’s race/ethnicity as Hispanic/Latino.
