The Epstein-Barr virus is one of the most common viruses that people catch. It can cause a disease called mononucleosis, also known as mono. EBV spreads primarily through saliva. The Epstein-Barr virus has also been associated venous thromboembolism.

Splenic infarction is a condition in which blood flow supply to the spleen is compromised, leading to partial or complete infarction (tissue death due to oxygen shortage) in the organ. Splenic infarction occurs when the splenic artery or one of its branches are occluded, for example by a blood clot.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA.
