(L.A.) Gerardo Miranda, 60, Died in Hawthorne

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Gerardo Miranda.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday.

Hawthorne Police Department responded to the 2800 block of 120th Street, where they located the decedent outside a vehicle.

He died from either a heart attack (myocardial infarction) or cardiac arrest.
