Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Diego Sanchez of South Gate.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Asphyxia
Cause of Death B: Choking
Cause of Death C: Plastic Baggie Lodged in Airway
Other Significant Condition: Acute Ethanol and Cocaine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 18, presumably after the results of drug screening had come back from the lab.
