(L.A.) Kenneth Harris, 56, Died in Bassett

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old Black male that occurred at a public train station.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Kenneth Harris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday evening.

LASD said the decedent was hit by a Metrolink train at around 5:30 p.m. in the 13000 block of Temple Avenue.

San Bernardino Line Train #342, carrying about 230 passengers, was heading east for Redlands.

Bassett is an unincorporated community near the City of Industry in the San Gabriel Valley.
