The coroner’s office has identified the individual as Daniel Abidor and listed his race/ethnicity as Hispanic/Latino + White/Caucasian.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:10 a.m.

The decedent was fatally injured in a three-vehicle crash in Santa Clarita.

California Highway Patrol stated that the accident happened at around 11:38 p.m. Sunday on San Francisquito Canyon Road at Runner Road.
