RIP ARTIS LEON IVEY JR. (August 1, 1963 – September 28, 2022)
The decedent was known professionally as the rapper Coolio. He achieved mainstream success as a solo artist in the mid-to-late 1990s with his albums It Takes a Thief, Gangsta’s Paradise, and My Soul.
Phencyclidine or phenylcyclohexyl piperidine (PCP), also known as angel dust among other names, is a dissociative anesthetic mainly used recreationally for its significant mind-altering effects. PCP may cause hallucinations, distorted perceptions of sounds, and violent behavior.
Cause of death was made public on April 6, 2023, after results of toxicological testing came back.
Because of the timing of a performance in Australia, where shots were strictly required, it is almost certain that Coolio had received injections of synthetic mRNA.
