(L.A.) Ryan Young, 62, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ryan Young.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effect of Cocaine and Ethanol

Other Significant Conditions: History of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Congestive Heart Failure

RIP RYAN YOUNG (June 11, 1961 – May 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 12, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
